We hear it every day in the comments we receive and encounters we have with educators, artists, families and visitors to our museum. Whether it’s a close encounter with a work of Inuit art, a breathtaking moment with a landscape by the Group of Seven, or a first glimpse at an emerging artist on the rise, a visit to the McMichael opens new vistas on what it means to be a part of this great country.
